Hi all! I live in an apartment, and my new neighbor moved in a couple of months ago. He plays music pretty loudly in the evenings, and while it usually stops by 10 PM, it still feels a bit much for me. I’ve knocked a couple of times to ask if he could turn it down, but he told me it’s “his way to relax after work.” I’m trying to be understanding, but it’s starting to wear on me. Am I being too sensitive here, or would you also find this annoying? Is it worth bringing up with the building management, or should I just let it go? Hey everyone! I’ve got a bit of a dilemma and need an outside perspective. I’m going to a dinner party next week, and I’ve recently started a pretty restrictive diet due to health reasons. I’m debating whether I should bring my own food or just eat what I can from what’s served and avoid the rest. I don’t want to come across as rude or unappreciative of the host's effort, but I also don’t want to put myself in a position where I can’t eat much.
